It was founded in the aftermath of a family court system that destroyed a family — and then told the father that there was nothing more to be done. Kenneth R. Gottfried has not seen his three daughters since 2014. He built this organization because someone had to.

The Founding Story
Why This Organization Exists
In 2014 Kenneth R. Gottfried's daughters were taken from him — not by death, not by his own failure as a parent, but by a family court system that had been captured by the very professionals who profit from keeping families in conflict.
He watched his daughters — whom he had loved and raised and been present for every day of their lives — be systematically conditioned to reject him. He watched the process that Dr. C.A. Childress, Psy.D. has documented with clinical precision: the Attachment System Suppression, the Shared Persecutory Delusion, the Fixed False Belief transmitted from one parent to the children.
He went to the Sheriff. The Sheriff said it was a civil matter. He went to DSS. DSS said the children did not support his account — without having spoken to them. He went to the FBI. The FBI said each case must be considered individually. He went to the APA. The APA told him to stop sending emails.
He watched 400 other parents in his community die by suicide. He documented 1,400 judges and officials on ChildAbusiveJudges.com. He wrote certified letters to the APA president, the FBI, the DC Attorney General, and the California Board of Psychology. Every door led back to the same wall.
And then he built the door that did not exist.
US Psychology Organization is the professional organization that should have existed decades ago. It is the clinical authority that the captured system refused to create. It is the accountability infrastructure that every failing institution has refused to build. And it was built by a targeted parent — for every targeted parent, every psychologically abused child, and every professional who wants to do the right thing and finally has the clinical tools and legal framework to do it.

Child Psychological Abuse is mandatorily reportable child abuse in all 50 states. Every licensed clinician, every law enforcement officer, and every officer of the court is legally obligated to report it. US Psychology Organization exists to ensure that obligation is fulfilled.

The Loss — Kenneth Gottfried Last Sees His Daughters
After years of family court proceedings, Kenneth Gottfried loses contact with his three daughters. The process Dr. Childress documents — Attachment System Suppression, Shared Persecutory Delusion, the Encapsulated Persecutory Delusion — has been completed. His daughters have been conditioned to reject him. The system declares the matter settled.
2014
APA Publishes — Childhood Psychological Abuse as Harmful as Physical or Sexual Abuse
The American Psychological Association publishes peer-reviewed research confirming that childhood psychological abuse is as harmful as physical or sexual abuse. The finding is peer-reviewed. It is published. It is the APA's own research. And it will be ignored for the next decade.
2016
First Documented Correspondence with the APA
Kenneth Gottfried begins documented correspondence with the American Psychological Association — including Kim Mills, Jim Sliwa, Michael Shulman, and Jo Anne Murphy. The APA's response to every inquiry: redirect to non-DSM terminology, deflect, and eventually — cease contact.

2018
The Dr. Daniel Contradiction — The Most Documented Moment in the Accountability Record
APA President Dr. Jessica Henderson Daniel tells Kenneth Gottfried that child separation and trauma is not her field of expertise. Twenty-one days later she signs a letter to President Trump citing decades of research on the harm of parent-child separation — and references suicide as a documented consequence. The same research. The same knowledge. Applied selectively. The complete documented contradiction is preserved in the US Psychology Organization archive.
2019
The Self-Sealing System — Documented in Real Time
The complete exchange with Watauga County Sheriff Hagaman, DSS Director Tom Hughes, and County Attorney Andrea Capua is documented. Every official points to every other official. No mandatory report is ever filed. The county attorney is cc'd on every DSS response. The same attorney in 2024 will tell Kenneth Gottfried there is nothing more to say or do.
2019
The APA Sues Kenneth Gottfried
The American Psychological Association — which has refused to issue a single clinical guideline on Child Psychological Abuse — files a legal action against Kenneth Gottfried over the domain name americanpsychologicalassoc.com. They deploy legal resources against a targeted parent advocate over a domain name while 22 million targeted parents wait for institutional acknowledgment that their children are being abused.
2022
The FBI — 250+ Judges, No Investigation
FBI Special Agent Richard Sutherland reviews documented evidence involving 250+ judges and court officials. The FBI declines to open a coordinated investigation. "There is no blanket way for the FBI to address each of these cases." The system that could investigate a nationwide pattern chose not to.
